A low loader is a flatbed trailer with a deck that sits approximately 1 meter off the ground. This makes it particularly suited for wide agricultural or oversized mining industry machinery and allows the operator to load safely while transporting high centre of gravity loads. The length of the trailer also makes it suitable for irregular size loads such as pipes, conveyor belts or large reels of cable and of course machinery.
