Rigid truck
Rentco has an extensive fleet of single axel rigid trucks configured to help you get the job done. They are equipped with gates, a bull bar, spotlights, and a dangerous goods book. Some models are available with refrigeration.
So versatile, they’re designed to transport cargo loaded onto pallets, or boxes and cartons to name a few. This makes them the perfect choice for businesses which have daily deliveries of fresh or chilled produce like foods, flowers, restaurant supplies, even beer and wine.
Companies with daily delivery or parcels or spare parts find the rigid truck an economical way of getting their goods to the customer.
Rigid flat top
Possibly the most popular trailer option in the truck hire business, the rigid flat top is prized for its strength and versatility. They’re tough enough to cope with on-site conditions and compact enough to get around town and have the range and capacity for long-haul deliveries.
Customers love the gated 7-metre flat tray top trailer because the added gates give them the flexibility to transport irregular size or hard to contain cargo like tyres, machinery easily and safely.
Rigid flat top trailers are solid and can comfortably accommodate an 8-tonne payload making them the perfect solution for builders, landscapers, tyre recyclers, farmers, and the mining and construction industries.
Tipper trucks
Sometimes called a dump truck, tipper trucks have to be the safest and most efficient way of transporting loose materials. Highly valued by the construction industry, quarries, farmers and landscapers, an end tipper is the solution if you’re transporting loose material (such as sand, gravel, aggregate, road base or demolition waste) for construction, grain or feed to farmers, or soil to site for landscapers.
This reliable workhorse is simple to manoeuvre and can operate in tight spaces making it ideal for inner-city construction sites. Easy to load, this open-bed truck is hinged at the rear of the bed and fitted with hydraulic levers allowing the cargo of loose material to be safely offloaded or dumped.
Mini tipper trucks
With a generous 3.5 cubic metre body and a two-way tailgate, you can’t go past Rentco’s mini tipper truck rental for convenience.
Perfect for moving small loads, clearing smaller sites or picking up supplies, Rentco mini tippers are an affordable solution when you have a smaller job to do.
These compact little units provide the perfect partnership with earthmoving and construction equipment. Unloading is simplified by the two-way tailgates, and the truck size makes it easy to navigate narrow driveways or tight spots on site or around town.
Small trucks
If you’re in the delivery business or have stock or equipment to move, a small truck from Rentco will get the job done. They come in a range of shapes and configurations making them the obvious solution when you have orders to deliver or need a truck to pick up or deliver supplies.
These trucks can often be driven with a standard car licence and are available with a Tautliner with gates. This setup makes it easy to load and unload pallets with a forklift. Hydraulic ramps allow you to load items with a trolley making boxed deliveries, or even heavy items such as white goods, safe and simple to load, offload and deliver.
Prime mover hire
With a fleet of over 200 prime movers available, Rentco are the go-to hire company when you have large, heavy, or irregular loads to haul.
We carry a variety of prime movers suited to commercial, agricultural, and industrial purposes. We can supply prime mover rentals that are fuel spec’ compliant for hazardous goods and for applications such as mining or off-road. We can also provide water carting equipment. We have integrated Volvo prime movers into our truck hire fleet because we love the Volvo reputation for reliability and efficiency.
Available with a selection of power alternatives ranging from 300 to 600 HP, Rentco can also supply Kenworth or Western Star prime movers up to a road train rating at 130 tonnes.
Yard truck hire
When you have a yard full of trailers to manage and move, a yard truck is worth its weight in gold. Probably one of the most useful pieces of kit you’ll ever lay your hands on, it’s designed for moving trailers in or around a commercial freight yard safely and efficiently.
A yard truck is compact, manoeuvrable, and designed to accommodate a hydraulic lifting fifth wheel, which allows the operator to move trailers around without exiting the cab or cranking the landing gear.
Once a trailer is in position, it can be lowered back to the ground and the fifth wheel can be uncoupled, and all this happens from the safety and comfort of the cab. With the capability to move up to three units, in the same time that a standard tractor would move one unit, the yard truck earns its place in the yard through sheer efficiency.
