In line with our strategy for growth and commitment to delivering the latest and safest equipment for our customers, we are excited to announce our recent acquisition of the rental division of Daysworth International – a Melbourne-based company that specialises in manufacturing terminal tractors.
The acquisition comes shortly after our brand new headquarters opened in Perth, in response to rapidly-increasing industry demand and business growth.
Our response to an ever-growing need in transport
Part of the acquisition deal with Daysworth is our purchase of a new fleet of terminal tractors (also known as ‘yard trucks’) to better meet the demands of our thousands of customers across Australia; delivering better service and increased stock for all.
“Terminal tractors are one area of targeted growth being tabled at present,” says Paul Scott, Rentco’s National Business Manager.
“We see a huge opportunity for long- and short-term rentals of terminal tractors in the market due to affordability, service, safety and access all being improved as our scale increases.”
Daysworth International has a proud 40-year history servicing Australia’s truck and heavy vehicle industry and a long-standing relationship with Rentco.
While the team at Rentco will continue to service the long-term agreements in place with Daysworth’s existing rental clients, Daysworth will also continue to support the sales and services of its terminal tractor brand throughout Australia.
