Environmentally Friendly Rentco Fleet
The latest addition to the ever-growing Rentco fleet is the new Volvo FH series trucks that are fitted with state-of-the-art environmentally friendly carbon neutralizers, otherwise known as the Volvo Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system. The SCR system consists of an Ad Blue tank positioned next to the standard diesel tank found in many Volvo trucks.
The SCR system consists of an Ad Blue tank positioned next to the standard diesel tank found in many Volvo trucks. Attached is an Ad Blue pump, an injector unit and an SCR catalytic converter which means the diesel engine is not actually involved in the neutralization process, however, delivers heat for optimal combustion levels.It is this technological advancement to the ongoing security of our environment that will help Rentco and our clients reduce their carbon emissions and work towards a sustainable future.
